Hendy Power is set to make its debut at Irish Skipper Expo where it will be showcasing FPT Industrial marine engines ranges which are suitable for solutions that meet the IMO III emission regulations.
Hendy Power is the FPT industrial authorised distributor for the UK and Ireland handling sales and servicing for its marine applications, and will be exhibiting alongside Kirwan Engineering it’s FPT Industrial service representative in Ireland.
Hendy Power director Andy Smith said that exhibiting at the Expo provides the ideal platform for visitors to learn more about the FPT Industrial range and how Hendy Power and Kirwan Engineering can provide marine power solutions and services to the fishing industry.

He said visitors to the show will be able to learn more about the FPT industrial engines and their suitability to the fishing market with Hendy Power experts on hand throughout the two-day event.
The key exhibit on the Hendy Power stand is set to be the brand new FPT Industrial Cursor 16 600 marine engine which has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the fishing industry.
“This will be the first time the engine has been seen in Ireland and we’re expecting a high level of interest from operators looking to update their vessels with the very latest in marine engines,” said Andy. “The engine offers best in class power to weight ratio and at Hendy we can offer the best lead times in the industry.”
Andy said the whole Cursor range offers outstanding power output standards with minimum displacement and the highest levels of reliability together with world-class environmental credentials.
