Hendy Power has reinforced its credentials in the workboat industry by becoming a member of The Workboat Association.
The trade body provides a valuable platform for workboat owners, operators stakeholders and professionals within the industry and Hendy Power director Andy Smith said the forum would enable Hendy Power to work more closely with key businesses within this sector.
Hendy Power is the award-winning industrial and marine engine division of the Hendy Group, offering an extensive range of services, including new engine supply, 24-hour engine breakdown call outs, aftermarket service support and OEM parts.
“Membership of The Workboat Association opens up new networking opportunities and allows the team to participate in industry steering groups as we continue to expand across the UK,” said Andy.
“The association runs a number of events throughout the year where we can be involved in sharing best practice and showcasing the expertise we have built up in the industry. Being a member means that we can be closer to our market and actively participate in discussions which focus on industry challenges and technical developments.”
Kerrie Forster, Workboat Association CEO welcomed Hendy Power as a new member and said “It is great to see more and more of the industry collaborating towards the Workboat Association, members like Hendy Power bring the association a vital connection to its supply chain. Joining other like-minded manufacturers and distributers, Hendy Power sits supported by some of the biggest names in power generation within the Workboat Association’s corporate membership”.
