Hendy Power will be back at Hillhead this year with the very latest engines from FPT Industrial and Lister Petter on display at the UK’s largest quarrying, construction, and recycling exhibition.
Mark Dean, power products sales manager, said the three day show in June offers the ideal opportunity to showcase engines which meet demand from the construction industry for Stage V emission options but at the same time offer the cost savings they are looking for.
“This year the focus is very much on what FPT Industrial and Lister Petter can provide in terms of plug and play engines,” said Mark. “Operators know that changing environmental legislation means they need to be switching to the most environmentally friendly engines, but they also need these to be the most cost-efficient options and these are offered by FPT Industrial and Lister Petter.”
Current customers in the sector include Dando Drilling which has just signed up for the latest Stage V option from FPT Industrial and Mark said Dando Drilling was a good example of how a key player is benefiting from the research and development carried out by Hendy Power to provide a cost-effective solution.
“We know that many operators have been delaying changing their engines because it’s a major shift for them and any delays in fitting could affect their day-to-day operations,” he said. “But our extensive research and development means that we can make the transition a smooth process with all the necessary tools and equipment readily available.”
Hendy Power will be showcasing two different FPT Industrial engines at Hillhead which offer two levels of power. The F28 offers up to 55kw while the larger F36 offers up to 105kw and visitors to the show will also be able to see and learn more about the new Stage V Lister Petter engines.
After many years as a Lister Petter dealer, Hendy Power is now the UK distributor for the brand, handling sales of the latest ranges for use both in the UK and overseas power generation markets, well suited to visitors to Hillhead.
It will be showcasing two key engines from the Lister Petter portfolio – demonstrating two different power outputs – the F28 offers up to 55kw while the larger F36 offers up to 105kw.
Visitors will also be able to see the Mercury Max Stage V engine from Lister Petter offering power between 1kW and 54kW.
Mark said the exhibition will provide Hendy Power with the ideal showcase for the engines but also to talk to existing and new customers about the Hendy Power parts, servicing and support package for both FPT Industrial and Lister Petter.
FPT Industrial also offers operators MYFPT, a sophisticated app which enable users to be connected to their engine data from their smartphone, offering real-time engine monitoring.
“We have expanded our offering to this market in recent months and the addition of new engines, particularly from FPT Industrial and Lister Petter, puts us in a good position to support this industry.”
Hendy Power will be at Hillhead 2024, Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, UK, June 25-27 on stand W22
